Immigration Evaluations

Sometimes a psychosocial evaluation can be helpful in immigration proceedings. We offer psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases, in the following situations:

  • Waivers (I-601 and I-601A)

  • Cancellation of Removal

  • U-Visa

  • Asylum

The evaluation process consists of:

  1. An in-person interview followed by several scales (questionnaires) to assess a client’s current symptoms.

  2. Results from the scales are integrated into the narrative from the interview.

  3. A report is then drafted and sent confidentially to the attorney.

  4. Once the attorney approves the final draft, a final report is sent to the attorney handling your case.

I work closely with attorneys and their clients to provide a thorough and efficient evaluation process in a culturally-sensitive, compassionate, and collaborative setting. I am also bilingual and fluent in Spanish and can provide services to Spanish-speaking clients in order to increase their comfort levels.

Fees

The fee for an immigration evaluation can vary from $900-$1500 depending on the case and how soon it needs to be submitted.
